Buck Back! is a short simple Contra-inspired shmup where you play as Buck, a deer who's tired of living in fear of hunters. After getting your hands on your own gun, you take to the woods to fight back.

This game is my first ever project! I spent about a week and a half on this game, and it allowed me to get familiar with the Godot game engine and how to go about making games. This game will likely not be seeing any updates or changes from this initial release. I'm very new to this, so please leave your constructive criticism and tips below.

It's quite good for only a week and a half! The art is very nice. The biggest feedback I have is adding a restart button. I'm a big proponent of QoL and accessibility options, but even adding in very simple things like restarting can make a world of difference. I look forward to seeing what you make next!
